Job Description


Seeking another Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice physician to join our 8 physical Hospitalist group.  This position is available as a result of a current member of the group seeking to relocate to be closer to family.  The current schedule is 5 on/5 off.  The ICU is open with Pulmonary/Critical Care backup.  

An excellent compensation package commensurate with training and experience which will include a base salary, incentive plan, paid CME, Relocation Assistance, Commencement bonus, Medical Education Debt Repayment Assistance, if needed, and a complete range of benefits.  

Hospital Description

An acute-care, 209-bed facility. Accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO),  serves more than 8,000 inpatients and 100,000 outpatients each year. The hospital offers a wide range of services, including Orthopaedics, Comprehensive Rehabilitation, Birthing Center, Surgery, 24-hour Emergency Department, Full-service Day Care Center, Wound Center, The Vascular Center, Women's and Children's Services, Diagnostic Services, Interventional Radiology and Occupational Medicine.

Community Description

The community is at the intersection of two major interstates.  The two county area has a population of 565,000.  Is home to fine four year universities.  The community is less than an hour north of Ashville, NC and is 3 hours north of Charleston, S.C.  Also within an hour of Charlotte, North Caroline and three hours away from Atlanta, Georgia.
