South Carollina Physician for a Hospital Employed Pediatrician
The hospital is actively seeking to employ a Pediatrician physician and will provide an attractive base salary, commensurate with training and experience. There will also be an incentive plan, a Commencement Bonus, paid time off with a CME allowance, a full range of the usual benefits, including Relocation Assistance, and Medical Education Debt Repayment Assistance, if needed.
Serves a market area of approximately 57,000 and is licensed for 59 acute care beds, as well as seven skilled nursing beds.
The community proud of its 213-acre historic district, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Market Hall, built in 1836, and Old Saint David's Church, completed in 1774, are two popular landmarks. Sherman's troops camped in there in early 1865, as they waited to cross the Pee Dee River on their march through North Carolina. The oldest confederate monument in the United States can be seen in Old Saint David's Cemetery. The church served as a hospital during the Revolutionary War, as well as during the War Between the States. Jazz trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie was born in this town.

Traveling out of town attractions like Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand, the city of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the golf mecca, Pinehurst, North Carolina, are all within short driving distance.
