Gastroenterology physician needed in Southern Illinois
Seeking board eligible/board certified Gastroenterologist in Southern Illinois community. Incoming physician would be sole provider in town for GI. Reason for the need is that the community and surrounding counties do not have a full-time Gastroenterologist. The service area is approximately 300,000 people who have to drive to St. Louis for care. Call coverage: ER call restricted to availability of schedule, would have General Surgery backup if needed. This would be a traditional setting of inpatient/outpatient (hospital/office). Office space available close to hospital campus.
